Software requirements

IIS 6.0, Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL, ASP.NET 2.0 Framework.
Full Trust Level should be granted to CMS web-application. This means that

    <trust level="Full" originUrl=""/>

string should present in server's root web configuration file. System needs Full Trust to allow file operations within websites file system.

Because of many Shared Hosting providers doesn't allow Full Trust level for their client's websites we recommend Dedicated Hosting server for SiteMech CMS 2.0.

 Database requirements

There are some requirements and limitations for your database scheme. However, these requirements correspond to best practices in Microsoft SQL Server database design. See detailed information about requirements and limitations in our CMS Technical Briefs section.

Just one installation per hosting server required. This one copy of CMS allows you to control unlimited number of web-sites .

 Updates

CMS automatically downloads and installs updates that are released by SiteMech 2-3 times a month. Once update is installed it becomes available for all web-sites on hosting-server that managed with CMS. All software licenses include minimum 1 year updates subscription.
